摘要: Clinical nursing practice requires reliable and valid methods of measuring healing in patients with leg ulcers. By comparing the reliability validity four ulcer healing, digital planimetry (computerized area measurement), Kundin Wound Gauge (volume Healing Scale (measuring perceptions healing), Johnson wound characteristics), standard technique stereophotogrammetry, implications for research were identified. Stereophotogrammetry, defined as topographical mapping volume area, was found to be suitable clinical trial evaluations monitoring hospitals or clinics. In a sample hospital community ulcers ( n = 82), weekly comparisons using Gauge, both methods, supported suitability these measures, any setting r .99; .98, respectively). The Scales did not show concurrent when compared stereophotogrammetric had limited reliability. This study provided three practice. Time intervals endpoints trials evaluating need considered terms instrument error rates delayed older people.
