Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy Presenting as Shoulder Pain in a Baseball Player

摘要: Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy is a commonly occurring myopathy that affects the facial and periscapular musculature. We describe case in high school throwing athlete presented as shoulder pain with baseball. The patient has begun an intensive physical therapy training program targets his weak scapular stabilizers well altering mechanics. His symptoms have improved, he able to continue competing sports at level.
