摘要: A planar super-wideband (SWB) antenna fed by an asymmetric coplanar strip is proposed, fabricated, and tested. The consists of a hexagonal loop in which signal prolonged, curved, shorted to ground plane facilitate SWB characteristics. In addition, adding boomerang-shaped the plane, effective electrical length increased, thereby decreasing lowest operating frequency. simulated results show that proposed exhibits −10 dB reflection bandwidth from 1.18 49.22 GHz corresponding ratio 41.7:1. measured fabricated are also represented compared with results. gain changes 2.05 10.62 dBi within frequency range.
