摘要: Abstract The average yields of pearl millet in the semi-arid tropics have been stagnating despite availability hybrids with high yield potentials. main reason for this situation is degree susceptibility to serious diseases such as downy mildew and ergot. In paper an attempt has made review present status knowledge these identify areas research which need immediate attention. Considerable information available on taxonomy reproduction causal fungi but epidemiology control inadequate.
