摘要: This review examines progress on the Pop I, fundamental‐mode Cepheid distance scale with emphasis recent developments in geometric and quasi‐geometric techniques for determination. Specifically I examine surface brightness method, interferometric pulsation trigonometric measurements. The three are found to be excellent agreement measures Galaxy. velocity p‐factor is of crucial importance first two these methods.
