摘要: An experimental study was undertaken to investigate the role of process parameters on grindability medium carbon steel in a high-speed grinding domain with particular emphasis surface integrity. Surface residual stress ground specimens has been assessed using X-ray diffraction technique and Barkhausen noise analysis. High-speed cubic boron nitride (cBN) wheels, unlike conventional grinding, provided compressive throughout domain. This can be attributed desirable temperature control as single layer cBN wheel higher thermal conductivity than wheels fluid took away substantial part heat flux. Micromagnetic or correlated linearly stress, indicating its applicability assessing integrity steel.
