摘要: Ficus lacor Buch. Ham. of the family Moraceae is a large glabrous tree, found throughout India. It well known for curing variety ailments such as gastric ulcer, Wound, dysentery, fever, leucorrhoea and diarrhea. The present study was undertaken to evaluate Pharmacognostical Phytochemical parameters fruits F. lacor. Macroscopically fruit green in color, depressed globose shaped, 1.2–4 cm diameter astringent taste. results microscopical studies showed presence epidermis, lignified stone cells, collenchymatous tissue, etc. Powder microscopy single or groups cells unicellular trichomes. physiochemical total ash 6.6% w/w, water soluble 3.7% acid insoluble 0.4%w/w, Methanol extractive 13.8% chloroform 11.9% 35% w/w. qualitative evaluation different extracts indicated carbohydrates, phenolic, triterpenoids, protein free amino acids compounds.
