摘要: The relationship between in-situ stress and fluid flow in fractured faulted rock is examined by using data from detailed analyses of orientation magnitude, fracture geometry, precision temperature logs that indicate localized flow. Data obtained three boreholes penetrate highly crystalline rocks potentially active faults appear to be the most important hydraulic conduits situ. permeability critically stressed much higher than are not optimally oriented for failure current field.
