摘要: Geological lineaments or ‘geolineaments’, irrespective of their hydrological nature, are generally treated as a single class, and density geolineaments is considered key hydrogeological factor influencing infiltration recharge. However, all natural linear features do not behave alike in different events such recharge discharge. Considering this, the described study examines role influence types on groundwater regime semi-arid crystalline Aravalli terrain western India. Geolineaments have been classified with aid published geological maps, satellite imagery selected field verification. Graphical analysis statistical tests revealed significant differences efficiency various terms productivity. With respect to water-level fluctuation representing well productivity depicting discharge, reversal noticed for drainage lines (straight versus curvilinear), fold axes (antiformal synformal) faults (vertical-slip lateral-slip). Analysis comparison has that associated structures geometry, hydraulic properties aquifers (vadose zone saturated zone), factors roles geolineaments.
