摘要: Abstract A Mg(In, Y) ternary solid solution was successfully synthesized by two-step method, namely sintering the elemental powders and subsequent milling. The formation of Mg(In, Y) indicates that solubility Y in Mg lattice is expanded due to existence In. as-synthesized 90 In 5 transformed MgH 2 , YH 3 MgIn compound upon hydrogenation, hydrogenated products except for recovered after dehydrogenation. exhibited a decreased reaction enthalpy 62.9 kJ/(mol H ), reduction ca. 5 kJ/(mol H ) or 12 kJ/(mol H than 95 binary pure Mg, respectively. working temperature as well activation energies hydriding dehydriding were also comparison with those Mg(In) solution, which are attributed reduced catalytic role . Our work thermodynamic kinetic tuning realized solution.
