摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews the models for thalamic∼3 Hz paroxysmal oscillations and thalamocortical∼3 with spike-and-wave field potentials. Experiments reviewed in introduction show that thalamus is essential to generate 3 seizures, hence thalamic slices display at∼3 Hz, following application of GABA, antagonists, as described chapter. However, evidence from a number experimental studies indicates that, this oscillation phenomenon distinct seizures. Several mechanisms have been proposed account effects blocking receptors circuit.
