Estimation of genetic variation in green tiger prawn, Penaeus semisulcatus by using random amplified polymorphic DNA, inter simple sequence repeat and simple sequence repeat markers

摘要: In this study, three molecular markers including random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) and (SSR) were used to evaluate genetic variation of green tiger prawn Penaeus semisulcatus collected from two geographically isolated environments; located in the Manifa, Arabian Gulf, Saudi Arabia Ataka, Suez Egypt. Genetic parameters included percentage polymorphism (P%), effective alleles (Ne), Nei diversity (H) Shannon index (I), which calculated based on data. All marker systems distinguished P. various levels. The highest (91.30%) was obtained with SSR, followed by ISSR (82.26%) RAPD (62.04%), respectively. Our results indicate that SSR appeared be best suited assay for assessing between genotypes semisulcatus. present study indicated Manifa Ataka closely related. Moreover, analysis variability could require more than one DNA‐based techniques.
