摘要: Increasing evidence suggests that Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/neu) is involved in progression of prostate cancer. Recently, sarcosine was reported to be highly increased during cancer progression, and exogenous induces an invasive phenotype benign epithelial cells. The aim this work investigate the effect on HER2/neu expression cell lines LNCaP (androgen dependent), PC-3 DU145 (both androgen independent). Relative amounts (AR) transcripts were determined using RT-qPCR. Total confirmed by Western blot (WB). protein surface living cells visualized confocal microscopy a HER2/neu-specific fluorescent probe. Exposure 50 μM for 24 h resulted 58% increase mRNA level (P < 0.001) indicating effects transcription. Control experiments with alanine, isomer sarcosine, showed no significant upregulation preceded corresponding increment after 48-h exposure as shown WB microscopy. Interestingly, had activated (phosphorylated) form HER2/neu. No change AR observed sarcosine. This first report regulation oncoprotein Thus, may induce expression. However, detailed information cellular mechanisms remains elucidated.
