A Systematic Review on Clinical Indicators, Their Types and Codification Processes

摘要: Purpose: Valid and reliable clinical indicators are regarded as the most important necessities to promote measure services. Therefore, present study aims at systematic summarizing reviewing indicators, their types codification processes. Methods: This review was conducted using keywords of “indicator” “clinical” Persian equivalent from Medline, Google scholar, SID, PubMed, Science Direct databases, Yahoo motor searches, authentic journals, related websites, other references time interval 1975-2012. After subject evaluation, abstract full texts studies were found with weak relation objectives eliminated. The selected carefully considered results extracted Extraction Table. Results: In this study, 2094 articles 30 finally studied. Exact evaluation resulted in 512 approximately covering all fields. classified 6 categories, 19 types, 10 methods selection divided into three general stages data collection, selection, being assured reliability. Conclusion: To evaluate governance performance hospitals efficiency one its main elements, valid required services’ quality. Summarizing over world, can be used codify appropriate indicators.
