Early clinical experience with cimetidine in duodenal ulcer patients.

摘要: Nineteen patients with duodenal ulcer have been treated cimetidine 1.2 G daily for six weeks. All experienced striking symptomatic improvement. Measurement of gastric secretion showed that tolerance to had not developed after weeks treatment. No significant side effects were noted. Cimetidine appears be a safe and effective means controlling symptoms. Controlled trials are indicated.
