摘要: Cimetidine, a new H2-receptor antagonist, was safely administered to eighteen healthy man by the intravenous, intraduodenal or oral route. 2 When gastric secretion maximally stimulated either histamine pentagastrin, simultaneous administration of cimetidine produced marked inhibition both acid and pepsin secretion. 3 Cimetidine well absorbed mouth had blood half-life hours. 4 rapidly excreted via kidneys about 70% material unchanged drug. 5 Clinical evaluation in patients with peptic ulceration is recommended.
