摘要: Gastric acid has been considered an important physiological factor in maintaining normal upper gastrointestinal functions since its presence the stomach was first confirmed more than a century ago. Although role is not fully understood, classic studies have shown that gastric activates pepsin and initiates protein digestion, modulates gastrin release, facilitates calcium iron absorption also protective action against variety of bacterial infections. The regulation secretion complex involves extensive coordination between gut brain. Historical physiology demonstrated at least three types receptors on parietal cell are involved secretion. Receptors stimulated by acetylcholine through neurocrine pathway (M3 receptors), hormonal (gastrin receptors) histamine paracrine (histamine [1]. relevance importance postreceptor interactions these discussed for many years; however, H+,K+-ATPase or proton pump located secretory canaliculus recognized as final to [2]. Abnormalities associated with diseases such duodenal ulcer, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome so on.
