Association of gene BoLA DRB3.2 with production traits in a dairy herd of Antioquia, Colombia

摘要: Objective. To determine the associations of BoLA DRB3.2 alleles present in Holstein and BON x cattle to production milk quality traits a dairy herd Antioquia, Colombia. Materials methods. Ninety-one cows, 66 25 BxH, were genotyped for gene, through PCR-RFLP technique. Furthermore, association gene with yield (PL305), fat (PG305), protein (PP305) percentage (PGRA) (PPRO) determined, using general linear model. Results. Twenty-seven identified; most frequent were: DRB3.2*23, 22, 24 frequencies of: 0.159, 0.129, 0.106, respectively BxH 20 0.20, 0.140, 0.120, respectively. Associations also determined. In cows DRB3.2*36 allele was associated low PL305 (p≤0.01), high PGRA multiparous (p≤0.05) PG305 primiparous (p≤0.01). The DRB3.2*33 increased PPRO BXH only DRB3*19 (p≤0.05). Conclusions. shows polymorphism both groups; some its allelic variants traits.
