摘要: Purpose Since 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) accumulates in neoplastic cells and activated inflammatory cells, positron emission tomography (PET) with FDG could be valuable diagnosing patients fever of unknown origin (FUO). The aim this study was to validate the use FDG-PET as part a structured diagnostic protocol general patient population FUO.
