摘要: The paper presents a case study for numerical analysis of the consolidation behavior an instrumented trial embankment constructed on soft soil foundation. Details are given to geological profile, field instrumentation, laboratory test results, and determination parameters modeling. Embankment settlement is estimated based one-dimensional nonlinear finite-element following Biot's theory. Finite-element results calibrated against measured data period more than 3 years. Development dissipation excess pore pressure, long-term settlement, horizontal displacement predicted discussed in light sensitivity performance some critical factors through parametric study.
