摘要: Cell wall polysaccharides of wheat and rice endosperm are an important source dietary fibre. Monoclonal antibodies specific to cell were used determine polysaccharide dynamics during the development both grain. Wheat grain present near synchronous developmental processes significantly different compositions, allowing localisation these be related changes. Arabinoxylan (AX) mixed-linkage glucan (MLG) have analogous cellular locations in species, with deposition AX MLG coinciding start filling. A glucuronoxylan (GUX) epitope was detected rice, but not walls. Callose has been reported associated formation outgrowths cellularisation xyloglucan is here shown a component anticlinal extensions, occurring transiently species. Pectic homogalacturonan (HG) abundant walls maternal tissues grain, only unesterified HG form. rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I) backbone observed temporally regulated from 12 DAA 20 Detection LM5 galactan showed clear distinction between being at earliest stages walls, tissues. In contrast, LM6 arabinan species around 8 transient persisted until maturity.
