摘要: In their capacity to transform xenobiotics and polluting compounds, fungal peroxidases use in the environmental field have a recognized important potential. However, both fundamental practical issues, such as enzyme stability availability, delayed development of industrial applications. Three main protein engineering challenges been identified: (1) Enhancement operational stability, specifically hydrogen peroxide case peroxidases. (2) Increase redox potential order widen substrate range. (3) Development heterologous expression production. The bottlenecks, advances strategies that proven successful are discussed.
