摘要: In this study we aimed to resolve the Ramularia endophylla species-complex by applying a polyphasic approach involving morphology and multi-gene phylogeny. Eleven partial genes were targeted for amplification sequencing total of 81 isolates representing R. s. lat. 32 11 species that previously linked Mycosphaerella sexual morph in literature. A Bayesian phylogenetic analysis, as well parsimony was performed on combined five-locus dataset resulting trees showed significant support three within complex, including described vizellae, one novel species, unterseheri. analysis also separately with mating-type gene sequences (MAT1-1-1 MAT1-2-1) tree topologies accordance multigene analysis. bibliographic review proposed links between spp. their purported morphs is presented, confirming six connections Ramularia. spite more than 10 000 having been Mycosphaerella, majority shown belong other genera, suggesting taxa identified much plant pathology literature needs be revisited.
