摘要: Abstract The effect of various reduced catalysts for the upgrading bio-oil produced by fast pyrolysis in a small batch reactor was evaluated using Ni/SiO2, Co/SiO2, Pt/SiO2, Pd/SiO2, and conventional sulfided CoMo/Al2O3 catalysts. All were prepared incipient wetness impregnation. Hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) reactions carried out H2 pressure range 1–5 MPa temperature 300–350 C guaiacol woody tar as model compounds oil demonstrated that at 300 C, higher conversion achieved with Pd/SiO2 compared sulfide catalyst. However, only Co/SiO2 catalyst exhibited high HDO activity selectivity toward aromatics reaction. also tar, indicating this may be active direct deoxygenation phenol yielding mostly benzene. Thus, catalysts, especially catalyst, can considered to potential candidates use improved selectivity.
