摘要: Antibacterial research is reaching new heights due to the increasing demand for discovery of substances capable inhibiting bacteria, especially respond appearance more and multi-resistant strains. Bivalves show enormous potential finding antibacterial compounds, although that be further explored, needs made regarding immune system these organisms. Beyond their primary cellular component responsible bacterial recognition destruction, haemocytes, bivalves have various other units dissolved in haemolymph intervene defense against infections, from factors detect different bacteria effector molecules carrying destructive properties. Moreover, better comprehend system, it important understand survival strategies possess order stay alive host's defenses. This work reviews current literature components a infection, as well discussing freshwater compounds.
