摘要: We report ALMA and SMA observations of the luminous infrared merger NGC 3256, most galaxy within z=0.01. Both two nuclei separated by 5" (0.8 kpc) on sky have a compact concentration molecular gas, i.e., nuclear disks with Sigma_mol > 10^3 Msun pc^-2. The one at northern nucleus is face-on while southern disk almost edge-on. more massive has arcs spiral arms around. high-velocity gas previously found in system resolved to outflows associated each nuclei. outflow from part starburst-driven superwind seen nearly pole on. Its maximum velocity >750 km/s its mass rate estimated be 60 Msun/yr for conversion factor N_{H_2}/I_{CO(1-0)}=1x10^20 cm^-2/(K km/s). highly collimated bipolar jet line-of-sight increases distance out 300 pc nucleus. de-projected ~2000 inclination should exceed 1000 even allowing uncertainty. >50 this outflow. There are possible signs that been driven radio an AGN became inactive very recently. sum these rates, although subject uncertainty estimate, either exceeds or compares total star formation 3256. feedback activities form therefore significant consumption budget, hence evolution, galaxy.
