摘要: The variability in the severity and clinical course of multiple sclerosis (MS) has as its basis an extreme heterogeneity location, nature extent pathology brain spinal cord. Understanding underlying neuropathology associated pathogenetic mechanisms disease helps to communicate rationale for treatment monitoring patients. Neuroimaging is important tool this: it allows clinicians relate neuropathological changes presentations monitor their disease. Here, we review MS imaging correlates provide a practical guide using MRI assess responses. This provides foundation optimal management patients based on principle that they show ‘no evidence activity’.
