摘要: The seasonal distribution of marine viruses and their relationship with heterotrophic bacteria in the coastal offshore area central southern Adriatic were studied. Additionally, percentage high (HNA) low (LNA) nucleic acid between total number nanoflagellates (HNF) as a major predator studied well. viral abundance ranged from 3.55 to 27.32 × 10 6 virus-like particles mL -1 , was on average 25-fold higher than bacterial abundances at all investigated stations. highest found stations, especially influenced by rivers Krka Jadro, whereas lowest values open sea Adriatic. No significant difference HNA LNA groups established. ratio (VBR) during colder part year, which coincided lower HNF vice versa warmer year. This suggests that grazing could be more important controlling lysis
