摘要: Abstract Despite all the mechanisms introduced by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and universities to ensure that graduates leave institution fit for employment, fact remains many employers decry quality of fresh graduates, particularly in area generic or soft skills (Morshidi Sirat et al., 2008). This study was undertaken identify areas consonance (and/or dissonance) perceptions instructors with regards should possess upon leaving university (Ministry Human Resource, 2009). The findings such a would reveal if were emphasizing looked their employees. Using questionnaire, sampled 124 126 Klang valley. there is some degree perceived as important employability employers, communication taking pole position, followed closely integrity professional ethics, teamwork. Interestingly, critical thinking problem solving skills, highly regarded educational arena not deemed vitally employers. Although this shows curriculum aligned needs industry terms top three demanded question why large number remain unemployed. Are being adequately deployed themselves? In attempting transform local higher education meet world-class standards, graduate (un)employability high-stake issue which demands immediate redress. attempts throw light on contentious issue.
