摘要: BACKGROUND: The usage of Smartphones and smartphone applications in the recent decade has indeed become more prevalent. Previous research highlighted lack critical appraisal new applications. In addition, previous a method using just Internet Browser text editor to create an application, but this does not eliminate challenges faced by clinicians. even though there been high rate acceptance, it is common knowledge that would cost clinicians as well their centers lot develop could be catered needs, help them daily educational needs. OBJCETIVE: objectives current are thus highlight cost-effective methodology development interactive education applications, also determine whether medical students receptive towards having perspectives with regards contents within. METHODOLOGY: study, we will elaborate how Mastering Psychiatry Online Portal web-based mobile application were developed HTML5 core programming language. online portal was launched July 2012 data obtained. Subsequently, native developed, funded grant recruited after end posting clinical examination fill up survey questionnaire relating perspectives. RESULTS: Our initial analytical results showed since inception date, for portal, have total 15,803 views, 2,109 copies textbook being downloaded. As videos, 5,895 viewers watched training videos from start till end. 722 users accessed application. A 185 participated perspective survey, majority positive about implementation psychiatry. CONCLUSIONS: This one few studies describe simple effective study demonstrated students' Smartphone psychiatric education. methods might apply future involving use technology
