摘要: Police officers are at high risk for developing musculoskeletal injuries. This study aimed to determine differences in physical demands of patrol during day shifts and night shifts. Sixteen participants were recruited (10 males, 6 females) in-vehicle observation over one full shift shift. Dynamic pressure distribution when seated the vehicle was assessed compared between first last parts each Activity characterization postural analyses conducted from video that recorded continuously duration time spent task corresponding postures. Postural analysis cumulative joint loads used identify higher-risk tasks. Several activities caused adopt non-neutral postures neck, shoulders back. Future work needs focus on modifying interior vehicle, as well decreasing exposure resulting
