摘要: The summer algal flora and community of 15 uninhabited islands in Dochodo, southwestern coast Korea, were investigated from 9 June to 16 September 2007. A total 53 species (10 green, 14 brown 29 red algae) marine algae identified. Among islands, the number observed was highest as 33 at Jeongdo Gyeongchido least 24 Hugdo Mido. dominant Enteromorpha compressa, Ishige okamurae, Gloiopeltis furcata, Ulva pertusa Sargassum thunbergii. zonation intertidal zone figured out by Caulacanthus okamurae – pertusa, thungergii Gelidium amansii, horneri upper lower zone. could be classified into six functional groups such coarsely branched form (39.6%), filamentous (25.8%), sheet (14.1%), thick leathery (9.9%), jointed calcarious (5.6%) crustose (4.9%).
