摘要: Planning theorists have increasingly argued for more ‘relational’ strategic plans that are conceptual rather than deterministic, with an emphasis on nodes and flows. Contemporary city strategies in Europe incorporated this approach, but metropolitan Australia remained very detailed reflecting historical institutional other development circumstances. Nevertheless, situation might be changing. The NSW state government's recent Metro2036 strategy Sydney City Council's Sustainable 2030 both place relational planning features at their centre, notably the global economic corridor former five themes constitute Strategy Map latter. article examines rationale role of these elements two strategies.
