摘要: The single most important clinically relevant cause of global cerebral ischemia is cardiac arrest. Other causes like hanging will not be covered in this chapter. estimated rate sudden arrest lies between 40 to 130 cases per 100,000 people year industrialized countries (1,2). Unfortunately full recovery still a rare event. Almost 80% patients who initially are resuscitated fiom remain comatose for more than one hour. One after only 10–30% these survive with good neurological outcome (3). Current therapy has concentrated on resuscitation efforts (4) but until recently no specific brain was available.
