摘要: Summary. The concentration of 13, 14-dihydro-15-keto-PGE2 (PGEM) was measured by radioimmunoassay in pregnant women the third trimester, at term but not labour and during spontaneous onset. plasma PGEM elevated above that a non-pregnant control group. Before onset no increase could be identified. Women had higher concentrations than before labour, although there progressive increase. Immediately after delivery levels reached maximum, which decreased significantly to pre-labour values within 30 min. Artificial rupture membranes influence on levels. It is concluded associated with an increased synthesis PGE2 may inved mechanism placental separation. rapid disaearance high confirms probably synthesized mainly fetal compartment.
