摘要: Abstract Using chromatofocusing, two fractions have been obtained from recombinant-derived interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and pituitary-derived bovine growth hormone (BGH). The forms of both proteins responsible for these characterized by N-terminal C-terminal amino acid sequence determination. Recombinant IL-1β, as a mixture correctly processed polypeptide an N-terminally methionylated form, was resolved rapidly chromatofocusing. BGH into the full-length commencing Ala-Phe-Pro-Ala-Met-Ser-Leu- form truncated at N-terminus four residues, which thus commences Met-Ser-Leu-; fraction containing also contains species having Phe-Pro-Ala-. These results, possible generality separation, are discussed.
