摘要: The aim of this study was to provide the first detailed insight into population structure Staphylococcus aureus in one modern dairy farm (Gamasa) and several household cows buffaloes Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt. Eight hundred seventy-two quarter milk samples 218 cattle with clinical subclinical mastitis were investigated. Bacteria identified using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry, staphylococci further characterized by DNA sequencing 16S rRNA genes microarray analysis. present 5.6% all collected samples, whereas methicillin-resistant S. (MRSA) represented 24.5% (12/49). Six clonal complexes (CC) detected. CC398 (ST291/813)-MSSA (methicillin-susceptible aureus) frequently Gamasa addition a few CC5-MRSA-V isolates. However, small number different isolates found harboring CC. presence these genotypes might indicate public health hazard, because CC have previously been isolated from human patients. Thus, recommendation given owner review hygiene regimen on farm. In perspective, investigation regarding screening lactating personnel is warranted.
