摘要: Abstract Multiple forms of polygalacturonases are produced by Aspergillus carbonarius . Three this enzyme differing in molecular weights (PG I, 61,000; PG II, 42,000; and III, 47,000) enzymatic properties have been isolated to apparent homogeneity a simple method based on sieve chromatography Sephacryl S-200, ion exchange CM Sephadex, followed gel filtration Sephadex G-50 superfine. All the three enzymes endo-enzymes with high affinity for polygalacturonic acid. One forms, which accounts >60% total activity, had highest reported specific activity 7,000 U mg −1 protein. The differ their amino acid composition, toward substrate, sensitivity metal ions, thermal stability. midpoint inactivation temperature ( T m ) was 43,46, 54°C respectively. multiple first-order kinetics estimated half-lives 6, 10, 32 min,
