摘要: We encountered a 74-year-old male patient with tongue laceration after convulsive seizures under intensive care. The showed severe swelling, and the right ventral surface had been lacerated by his isolated pointed lower canine. Our university hospital has established perioperative management center, is promoting interprofessional collaboration, including dentists, in management. Dentists collaborating center took dental impressions, support of anesthesiologists who opened patient's jaw propofol sedation, to produce mouth protector. By raising bite, completed protector prevented tooth from contacting protected wound. Use coming into contact tooth, healed gradually. These findings underscore that collaboration dentists can improve quality medical
