Photoconduction in anodic tungsten oxide thin films

摘要: Photoconduction in anodic films of tungsten oxide the form Al-WO3,-W structures has been measured spectral energy range 1·5 to 5·25 eV. Thin were prepared by oxidation 99·999% pure foils using an aqueous solution containing 0·4 M KNO3 and 0·04 HO3 as electrolyte. Significant photocurrent starts at about 3·09 eV a strong peak occurs 3·26 which corresponds optical band gap WO3 films. Five peaks different photon energies above also appear response curves. These may be due contribution photocurrents from higher bands. The are for top electrode negative than positive. This some asymmetry electrodes.
