摘要: This paper is concerned with the development of an active palpation sensor for detecting prostatic cancer and hypertrophy. The receptor a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film placed on surface sponge rubber layer. It mounted linear z-translation bar inserted into examinee's rectum whilst being protected by medical glove. After positioned to face prostate gland, probe driven sinusoidally at about 50 Hz, peak-to-peak amplitude 2 mm. voltage signal from PVDF integrated over sampling period used as output extracting features collected data. evaluation stiffness 27 normal unhealthy glands are compared results diagnosis doctor's palpation. shown that becomes greater increase which has good correlation stiffness. Further laboratory test reconfirm present well discriminates in vivo non-invasively.
