摘要: A novel method for detection of dynamic characteristics biological soft tissues is presented. In this method, viscoelastic properties are measured indirectly by using free damped vibrations small cantilever beam following a impact applied at the end where piece specimen suspended. Natural frequencies and logarithmic decrements in order to find out elasticity constant viscous damping coefficient tissues. As practical application, viscoelasticity normal, hypertrophied, cancerous human prostate obtained autopsy were measured. It was found that present capable detecting changes caused these pathological changes, suggesting feasibility application tissue characterization.
