摘要: Metalation of m-tolunitrile has been achieved by means lithium dimethylamide and diisopropylamide in THF/HMPA to afford a new, synthetically useful organometallic reagent. o-Tolunitrile the p-isomer also react with such bases give corresponding lithiated derivatives. Each lithiotolunitriles readily undergoes condensations various electrophiles.
