摘要: To induce atherogenesis in mice, a high fat (HF) diet is supplemented with cholic acid (CA), which increases apoB-containing particles and lower apoA-I-containing particles. HF without CA levels of both HDL LDL, suggesting that may be responsible for the elevation LDL lowering HDL. The mechanism dietary CA-induced has recently been reported. In this study, we examined CA- HF-induced lipoproteins mice. Mice were fed following four diets: control chow (C), cholesterol, (HF), 0.5% cholate HF+CA. Dietary increased plasma by approximately 2-fold when compared to control; VLDL 2-fold, 1.3-fold. On diet, 1.4-fold, occurred different mechanisms. We investigated potential mechanisms regulating apoB HF-fed Although hepatic mRNA did not change on apoB-100 relative B-48 as result decreased editing mRNA. Measurements receptor suggested down-regulated mRNA, possibly increasing cholesterol. Since vitamin E show significant changes CA-containing diets, it suggests act absorption fat. Hepatic lipase, known modulate particles, or Taken together, these results suggest chow-fed fat-fed mice enhancing production apoB-100, also reducing receptor-mediated clearance Thus, modulates primarily posttranscriptional
