Human β-type interferon enhances the expression and shedding of Ia-like antigens. Comparison to HLA-A,B,C and β2-microglobulin

摘要: Abstract Expression and shedding of Ia-like antigens were evaluated in human cell lines treated with β-type interferon. A significant dose-dependent increase the amount cell-associated was found that reached a peak after 48 h interferon treatment. An increased accumulation Ia culture fluids also observed. Similar increases expression HLA-A,B,C β 2 -microglobulin Human α-type caused enhanced as well -microglobulin, but ineffective respect to expression.
