摘要: Abstract Strategic interaction among governments has become a major focus of empirical and theoretical work in public economics. NIMBY is one application the literature. In present paper, we apply model to disposal disaster debris after Great East Japan Earthquake when there was substantial concern over radioactive contamination following Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant incident. We empirically test strategic municipality governments. find strong evidence such interaction. That is, deciding whether accept waste, appear keep close eye on other governments’ choices.
