摘要: We have previously developed a Focus+Glue+Context-type fisheye view map system called Emma. Emma shows maps of different scales on the same display region, so that users can use wide Context and confirm details Focuses simultaneously. However, when multiple overlap, is problematic in road-network connections cannot be correctly drawn. In this paper, we propose Water Drop method as solution to problem. It prevents overlapping by transforming much way drops water are transformed, united, divided due surface tension. order prove efficiency proposed method, also Overlap Repulsion baseline approach. moving inactive away from active Focus an overlaps Focuses. conducted three experimental evaluations point both usability interface visibility.
