摘要: Using a cDNA library prepared from circumvallate papillae of rat tongue, we have identified, cloned, and sequenced novel K+ channel, designated cdrk. The cdrk channel appears to be member the Shab subfamily, most closely resembling drk1. Electrophysiologic analysis expressed channels reveals delayed rectifier properties similar those drk1 channels. Localizations mRNA in brain peripheral tissues, assessed by situ hybridization Northern blot analysis, differ any other reported In is concentrated granule cells olfactory bulb cerebellum. mRNAs for are reciprocally localized, indicating that contributed mammalian homologs may important variety excitable tissues.
