摘要: Abstract One main obstacle for the development of microbial desalination cell (MDC) is that rate decreases fast when salt concentration in becomes low. To cover this shortage while using less energy to fulfill complete desalination, membrane capacitive deionization (MCDI) was used research as downstream process further desalinate 1 g/L water. Single MDC, two MDCs series and parallel were power supply drive MCDI, parallel-configuration system gave best ECA 264.8 μmol/g, which a 59% increase compared driven by potentiostat with same operational voltage. The MCDI high 3.7 mg/h one working cycle. proved be an effective technology combine MDC removal.
