Effects of water stress and pod position on the seed quality of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) cultivars.

摘要: A field experiment was carried out in 2008 to evaluate the effects of different irrigation treatments (I1, I2 and I3: after 70, 120 170 mm evaporation from class pan, respectively), pod positions (upper, lower middle parts canopy) on seed quality four chickpea cultivars (Jam, Hashem, Arman ILC Kabuli type). Seed as determined by electrical conductivity leachates, germination percentage, rate seedling dry weight were not significantly affected water stress, but mean decreased with increasing intervals. The largest seeds highest obtained canopy. No significant interaction versus position indicated that had high under both adequate limited irrigations. larger more vigorous compared other cultivars. Mean weight, positive correlation each other. It concluded sorting for large uniform size harvest could be a practical way improving lot quality.
